Not only did Saturday see Keswick first team triumph against Wigton (19-7), the club also had a very successful ‘Cancer awareness day’ collecting just over £1000 for cancer charities including; Cancer Research UK, Macmillan and the Moghissi Laser Trust by having a gate entry donation, raffle and proceeds from the sale of bacon butties and baking.

An annual fundraiser for charity is to become part of the calendar and thanks go to those who volunteered with collecting buckets, donation of raffle prizes and helpers in the kitchen. Volunteers, hard work and goodwill are the root values of Keswick rugby club and we would like to thank our members and supporters for everything they do.

This weekend 18&19 November the Rugby club are offering their large overspill car park free of charge to support the ‘locals shopping weekend’ and local community.
